One of our goals before the year was out was to boost our payment performance, and give you more options with your customers. ServiceBox Payments does just that. There are now several ways you can use ServiceBox to get a payment from a customer: You can still have them pay you directly with their credit card through ServiceBox like before, but now your employees can also use a physical handpoint system to take a payment on site, or you can add pay buttons and/or online portal links to your invoices.
ServiceBox now has a Portal Payments Setup option that allows you to add pay buttons, pay links, and in other ways customize the invoice email you send to customers. The Portal Payment Setup button can be found in Settings > Invoices.
Adding those features will cause them to appear in the invoice email that goes out from ServiceBox at the end of the job. For instance, if you add a pay button, your customers will receive a simple, sleek message like this:
Clicking the “Pay Invoice Now” button will take them to another screen (below) where they can download a more detailed PDF of their invoice, adjust billing details and ultimately hit the Pay button.
For more information on using Servicebox Payments, just hit the little black feedback button at the bottom of your ServiceBox homepage and contact our Help team.
In the coming weeks ServiceBox will also be releasing a handheld device that your techs can use on the jobsite to physically process a payment from the customer. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media for details on cost and ordering process: @getservicebox on facebook, instagram and twitter.
